Hello - my name is Monica
I am a Christchurch based celebrant. I’m a proud mum of two adult daughters and a teenage son, and I love spending time with my family, cooking, dancing, and enjoying the calm of the seaside. I’m often told I have a gentle, kind heart, and I bring that warmth into every ceremony I create.
Becoming a celebrant has been a joy, allowing me to support couples and celebrate love in its most beautiful moments. My goal is to create a ceremony that feels meaningful, relaxed, and truly yours.

Elopement
This is a simple, intimate and private ceremony focused on completing the legal requirements of your marriage.
Your ceremony can take place any day of the week, at a venue of your choice, or in the comfort of your own home.
Includes
• Friendly first meeting (in person or via video call)
• Private ceremony with a set script
• Couple + Celebrant + 2 witnesses
• Up to 30 guests
• Legal vows exchanged and all paperwork signed
• I take care of submitting everything to Births, Deaths and Marriages NZ so your marriage is officially registered

Personalised Ceremony
This beautiful ceremony is crafted around your love story, how you met, your journey together, and the meaning behind your relationship.
Your ceremony can be held in your home, a venue of your choice, or I can recommend several lovely venues in Christchurch.

• First meeting in person or via video call
• A personalised ceremony script based on your story
• Option to write your own vows (with help if needed)
• Optional poem or reading
• Up to 100 guests max
• Rehearsal before the ceremony
• Ongoing support and communication
• Legal vows exchanged and all paperwork signed
• I take care of submitting everything to Births, Deaths and Marriages NZ
